I have diffused hair loss and have responded well to topical Minoxidil. Every person will respond differently to the drug, and you could keep the hair you have for years if you're also on a DHT inhibitor and/or on an AR antagonist.
No one can answer that. Everyone responds different. Seems like diffusers have a high response rate. You'll have to try it and find out for yourself.
The only treatments that work came out in 1997... no new effective treatments are coming anytime soon... get on finasteride.. i got on at 17
You have no faith in anything?
Age and regimen?I just wouldn't wait for the next big treatment... before getting on finasteride
25 years old
been on finasteride 8 years
just started minoxidil and keto shampoo 1 month ago
hoping to see some progress from minoxidil at 3-4 month mark
minoxidil is doing wonders on my beard tho.. it worked fast there..
when did you start to see some minoxidil results??
Thanks
I saw results at 3 months and I'm only 3 months in. I'm excited to see how I progress. I'm a NWII-NW2.5 and just recently started losing hair noticeably. The earlier your catch it the better. Any sides on finasteride? I'm pretty afraid of it
there was a user here named Warlord a while back.. this is what he said
" And stop talking about "hair follicles becoming more sensitive to DHT". The current research indicates the opposite: Androgen receptors switch to a form that is less sensitive to DHT. Furthermore, with increasing age, there are less and less androgens produced in your body, and your chances to keep hair thus increase"
That would be sweet!!
That kinda goes against a lot of what we have seen. Men lose hair as they AGE.
Hes talking about a person on a DHT blocker though..
this is the thread
