I don't mean to be such a bummer but seriously i think MSM is just giving people false hope.
It does not work at all....well for me at least
I tried to think and hope that it would work, but honestly, i think that after using it my hair and nails actually grew at a slower rate....
For the people who says it works, do you really notice a difference or are you just making yourselves feel better?
I've been taking MSM for more than a year religiously. 6000 mg a day. 3000mg in the morning and 3 g at night.. Since then, my nails, hair grow faster, my skin is way better and got healthier joints. I take vitamin C with every intake of msm for better absorption. How many times I had that discussion with new guys on this forum. This is not an alternative to Propecia, dutasteride or minoxidil. this is just a add-on to get faster and better results. You won't have a full head of hair tomorrow by taking msm everyday. Just help the body naturally to boost keratin production. What was you dosage? What is the brand? How long you have been taking it? Any vitamin C with it? Took it on empty stomach? :sobbing: Have you tried the other sulfur called Silica??
i take 1000 mg a day with 500 vitamin C and i sometimes do take silica as well....
The thing with MSM is....it's not a supplement that has actually proven to work....
like if i was taking painkillers like tylenol and it didn't work, then obviously I know that it is something wrong with me, not the painkillers
but there is so much info outside that discredits MSM because it actually is proven to do nothing at all!
