Hi all. I'm a 35 year old male and just wanted to introduce myself and get a bit of advice.
I started noticing some diffuse thinning and temple thinning around the time I graduated from college in the late 90s. After college, I got on Finasteride but was also intent on getting hair transplant, which I did at MHR (Dr Kurgis) in 2000 when I was 25. I only got 600 transplants. Our plan was to do 2 such sessions, but because of money, logistics, etc, I never got a second session. I was fairly happy with the first one, even though anyone paying attention could tell my hair was thinning. At least it wasn't patchy, though.
Between then and now, I've been in a regular habit of finasteride every day and minoxidil 5% foam. I have a feeling I've started to build up a tolerance to both. I also use Toppik every day and Nizoral a couple times a week.
So, as you can see, when the lighting is normal and you see me from the front, my hair doesn't look to bad, but with a bright flash in a bright light, you can obviously see the thinning.

I don't know if another hair transplant is the answer, or if I should be on other topical products. I haven't been too adventurous. In fact, I haven't been on any hairloss forums since about '05, which has been nice, but I figured I could use some advice on any technological advancements I might not know about. Plus, I make a good living now and can afford them.
One last note: the quality of hair in the males in my family is pretty baby-fine and wispy in general, which does not make for good donor hair. I'm not sure what the smallest sessions could possibly be before the donor hair runs out. Part of me wants to just shave things down really short, but don't want to expose the donor scar. Any advice?
Nice to meet everyone, thanks for any feedback you've got!
