A lot of factors either cause or accelerate baldness. A good start would be to abolish nutritional deficiencies, disrupted gut microbiome, sedentation, social isolation and chronic stress. When all these areas have been dealt with you should have an exceptionally greater chance at regrowing hair when initiating proven treatments.
That's because isolating oneself from others most often leads to an increase in stress and anxiety. Certain well-being hormones are also released when dealing meaningfully with eachother, which can stimulate more dermal collagen being produced.Social isolation is a contributing factor to hair loss? How does that work - I’ve never heard about it.

If you have some coverage then oral minoxidil and dutasteride can do magic. But yes, slick NW7s need the tranny route
I would suggest starting with dermarolling. A dermaroller is a cheap investment and there's ton of anecdotal evidence from just the past year alone. Also it seems to be working best with Minoxidil, which I see you're already using. To see some success by other members on here, check out this thread: https://www.gourmetstylewellness.com/interact/threads/microneedling-photo-results-summary.121072/Just FYI, I’m an NW3, but I can see the signs of becoming an NW5 if I discontinued treatment. If dutasteride and oral minoxidil are options for me, then I’m willing to try. I’ll have to ask my doctor.

Careful, that line of thinking is dangerous. A lot of men think its impossible to go bald on dutasteride, but those men just haven't had to use it yet. Like finasteride, it is a near 100% certainty that you will go bald on dutasteride eventually. If your very lucky you might buy yourself up to 10 years, but more likely it will be 2-3 years. I haven't even seen adequate results on the stronger regimens mentioned here.
It's good to have hope, but you must prepare for the worst. There are only two ways to stop baldness. One way is to start a family and pass the fight to the next generation.

I don't know about that, my hair isn't as bad as some on this site but with just over a year on dutasteride and oral minoxidil my hair is slightly better but nothing radical, still needs alot more density. I may just be a bad responder to dutasteride and oral minoxidil though.

Hmm, that’s even more hopeless than my statements. Correct me if I’m wrong, but what I understand from your post is that dutasteride (as well as finasteride) are temporary solutions that will inevitably lead to baldness, correct? You mentioned that this is 100% certain. Are there studies to support this? I don’t want to begin any new treatment without being sure that I’m not just walking down another dead-end street...
You're completely wrong. 10 year follow up studies show that more than 85%maintain on finasteride. And that number is even higher for dutasteride. Read the literature before going all doom and gloom on us.Careful, that line of thinking is dangerous. The guy on here with the most impressive hair regrowth from dermarolling, Chen, used 1,0mm needles twice a day for 5 minutes each. He reported going medium strength without any bleeding. He was also, just like you, using Minoxidil and Finasteride. He would apply Minoxidil after his dermarolling sessions. From personal experience, using 1,0mm needles without bleeding doesn't hurt much at all. It's almost like a massage.Thank you very much for this info. I have heard of dermarolling, but never investigated it. Sounds a little painful, but not as painful as losing one’s hair...
I think they could be in pair with eachother. These must be the photos you're referring to: https://i.imgur.com/QIZAaGq.jpgI've seen many more impressive results than Chen. The most impressive I've seen is Narwhal7 who used 1.5mm once a week.
I have to agree. His results are more impressive. Although there's some difference to when Chen and Narwhal introduced their drugs (Minoxidil and Finasteride). His one year results are even better. Chen had good results, but he wasn't starting at NW7, and he didn't get as good of coverage. His hair looks better than it is due to styling and lighting. If you look at his close up pictures where he pulls his hair back you can see his forelock actually grew back pretty thin.
It's good to take note on that none of these two great responders were wounding the hard way with tons of bleeding.I think great frequency may improve/quicken results, but it's not necessary for great results, and may lead to people dropping treatment because it's just a pain to do it every day.
