I used to wear hair systems. They weren't that uncomfortable, but my main issue with them was conceal-ability. The only way you can tell someone is wearing a hair system is by the hairline. And the hairline on the systems I used were very good, but useless after the first use. And even witht he first use, you are incredibly self conscious and adjusting the hairline. It needed constant maintenance. They cost an incredible amount as well.
I also considered a hair transplant operation, but concluded that the procedure would not even restore my full hairline--so pronounced was the patterned baldness.
But then I had an idea. What about a procedure that would restore only my front hairline, so that the giant bald patch behind it could be covered by a hair system? It eliminates the conceal-ability issues I had with the hair system when I tried them, and a procedure to cover JUST the hairline can't possibly be that extreme.
What do you all think? Is there a name for this?
TLDR: A hair transplant to restore ONLY the hairline, and the giant bald patch would be covered by a hair system. There would be no way to detect it!
