When I started taking propecia, I was referred to a dermatologist from my doctor and the derm office sold me propecia directly rather than giving me a prescription. I could go there whenever I needed it and buy it. This seemed just fine, up until the first time I went there and they had ran out. At that time they gave me samples which was 14 pills, about $25 worth so I was happy. I went back and they were restocked again before my samples ran out. Well now they are out of samples and out of bottles, and it just so happens I got sidetracked and have gone 3 days before getting to the office for another bottle. Well what do you think happened...They are out and are going to give me a phonecall when they recieve more. The sad thing is I no longer have any health coverage so if I go to doctor for prescription I believe I will be charged. So I am left to twiddle my thumbs and watch my hair drop as I wait for there shipment to come, wish me luck.

Buy some online, there are plenty of reputable online pharmacies to choose from, I use http://www.qhi.co.uk they supply internationally.

Proscar is much cheaper than Propecia, it will cost you around $50 (US) for 5 months supply.

Hm this looks good thanks. Couple concerns, is Proscar 100% finasteride, in other words will it have any side effects in its use. Also, what do you use to cut the pills?
One more thing, I have never purchased from a site with foreign currency. I am in the US, can I purchase from this site? If not, do you happen to know of any other sites that will sell Proscar without prescription?

Proscar, except for the blue colorant in the pills coating (brown/orange in Propecia) is identical to Propecia, they are made by the same company in the same factory from the same batch materials, to the same standards.

Proscar is 5mg of finasterdie (+ excipients)

Propecia is 1mg of finasterdie (+ excipients)

in other words will it have any side effects in its use.

If you get side effects from Propecia you will get them from Proscar, they are the same drug.

Also, what do you use to cut the pills?

By far the best cutter of any pill is a Swan Morten 10A surgical scalpel blade (no real reason to buy the handle, just the blade) available from your local arts and crafts store. If you can't be bothered to find one, use a sharp knife, your divisions do not have to be super accurate.

One more thing, I have never purchased from a site with foreign currency. I am in the US, can I purchase from this site? If not, do you happen to know of any other sites that will sell Proscar without prescription?

Yes you can purchase from this site and there are many others, do a search on this forum.

This place also sells generic finasteride 1mg and generic proscar 5mg, they are reliable.
