It's very rare for a doctor to prescribe Avodart, as it is a drug for prostate enlargement. I buy my Avodart from http://www.drmpharmacy.com/

Because prescribing things for conditions not approved by the FDA opens the doctor to a big lawsuit, if for some unfortunate reason you develop really bad side effects from the drug.
