My hair was falling heavily , i used a lot and a lot of minoxidile and other supplements to stop falling but didn't benefit from any, I lost most of my hair, i was like completely bald on the front and the crown.
I started thinking about hair transplant to restore my hair, I saw too many places doing this procedure (each says we are the best), especially in Turkey, there is more than a thousand place, i contacted some of them for many weeks( it is a big decision ),i also contacted Zenhair clinic it took me 2 or 3 months as i remember.
I decided to go with Zenhair clinic (Dr. Olcay Saygin) after Extensive Research it seemed to me the best , i trusted them after contacting Mohammad (one of the medical staff) many days and knew 80% about the procedure one and most important of them the doctor performs all surgery's levels herself.and i will need 5200 to 5700 follicles it will be 2 sessions in 2 days.
I booked an appointment and we agreed on15 on 16 December 2018 operation dates.
I arrived Istanbul ATATURK airport on 14 December 2018 Morning about 10 am, at the arrivals gate there was too many taxis and crazy traffic (what a busy city ), one of those taxis was sent from Zenhair clinic to pick me up to the hotel ( the transportation between hotel and airport included to the package).
After 2 hours i am at the hotel called( Marmara hotel 4 stars) hotel downtown near of the clinic as well ( 5 minutes walking to the clinic), i spent my day in the hotel and around.
Next day 15 December at 09:30 am one of the translator came to me and we went together to the clinic, in there i met a female, The translator told me she's Dr. Olcay, she checked my hair then asked me again if i have any health problem such as heart, pressure problems or any allergic of any medications i said no i am in a good health, then we talked about the operation how will it go,everything was good for me, i paid the remaining amount 2000 € in cash. then one of nurses took my blood pressure and it was pretty good 130/80. Dr. Olcay gave me three anti swelling tablets , one antibiotic, i took them.
Then Dr. Olcay told nurses to shave my head and change my clothes to take me to the operation room.it took minutes then we are in the operating room .sure the translator was beside of me in those steps .
In the operating room the translator from in front of the door told to me lie down (explanation of what that nurse said in Turkish), The nurse started local anesthesia he really had experience in injecting anesthesia, only first 5 minutes i felt pain then i didn't feel any pain, my left back side was numb.
After 15 minutes Dr. Olcay came to the operating room and started extracting follicles from the left side of my back head, i was hearing her the sound of the drilling tools but don't feel them, one of the nurses was counting the follicles and some separation. It took about 1 hour more or less extracting follicles. the doctor put bandage on my back head.
We had a break after that, we had lunch some delicious Turkish food. after 30 minutes we are back in the operating room.
Dr. Olcay drew my hair line in the form of V and asked me whether I agree or no, Actually i wanted lower hair line but she told me there are veins above the forehead and she can't open channels on them. She showed me pictures of her clients who had similar condition and after the transplantation with V form hairline they were look natural and really good front line.
The doctor opened hair channels then started implanting the follicles on the front and a bit to the sides. I felt she's insuring the good quality of transplant along the front hairline.
This step (implanting) took a long time. By 6 pm the surgery done.
The doctor transplanted the front hairline until the middle and the rest will be on the second day. After the surgery i walked to my hotel.
I took antibiotic after i had dinner then slept on my back exactly as they told me.
The second day ...to be continue
