My Finasteride Results After Seven Months

Please give me your honest opinion. These are the photos from 0->3->7 months since I started on finasteride.
Prior to commencing on finasteride, I had already been on Minoxidil for over 10 years and still on it.
Around the same time I began finasteride, I also started twice-weekly dermarolling.
The latest photos were taken last week.
I would like to think there has been some progress on the crown, and arguably minimally on the temples.
However, it is obvious that the vellus hair on the temples which became darker and visible has NOT grown at all since 3-months, and I'm thinking I have now seen the maximum results of finasteride and all it is likely to do further is maintaining, which I will still commit to do.
Please bear in mind that I have been growing the length of hair as well, which could be falsely seen as more coverage.
Has anyone had a similar experience/progress?
Thanks.

Thanks for the reassurance. I do think it looks thicker, although the 0-months photos were obviously taken under different lighting so could have altered the perception. I don't think they were photo-shopped or anything, as I saw the images immediately after they were taken.
Also the isolated vellus hair strands seem now completely stagnant in length. whether more new growth has come out is hard to tell...

Thanks guys.
I think I am experiencing mild side effects such as reduced libido (intermittent) and slightly tender nipples..other than that nothing noticeable.
Anyone with experience of similar level of diffuse hairloss on finasteride for over a year or so? I would like to know how you benefit from further continuation of the meds,
Could anyone suggest any additional treatments at this stage? I am hoping I wouldn't have to consider switching to dutasteride in two years' time...

2.5 months on big three here, already seeing dark and hard stubble in whole scalp(i think its reversal of miniaturized hairs).Since i don't apply minoxidil on full head,i'm sure its definitely finasteride.

You will likely see most regrowth after 1 year

That's encouraging for you, not too dissimilar to my experience but perhaps better :).
Yes, I totally agree that it is the finasteride doing its work, as nothing I previously attempted (minoxidil, laser therapy,Viviscal, natural supplements, stimulant shampoo) showed any visible impact.

Apologies if I missed something here, I thought months 4-6 on finasteride is when you're likely to see maximal benefits...which is why I'm concerned now that it won't get much better than this, especially now that any visible new growth seem to have stopped growing further in lengths.
Is it more commonly found to further the regrowth even after one year then??

Hey do you have other pictures, you have your hair styled differently in your photos
My style has not changed, except as I mentioned the existing terminal hair grew in length, which may add to impression of coverage. All the photos were taken with the intention with same parting. Perhaps I need to invest on a selfie stick :D

I can say their is more coverage from the top view, but I don't see a change in the hair pulled back. Like you said the hair is longer so I don't know if that's the finasteride, only you can say. I wish all your hair was black it would be much easier to tell also.

4-6 months is when most will see inital results....12 months is when most will see maximum results.

This is just average. some say they saw maximum results after 6 months or 2 years, ect..
