Day 1 - I decide to split the pill into quarter so 0.25mg of finasteride. After 10 minutes of taking it I was unable to get a erection an hour later my erection came back so I was ok with it. but I felt small ache in my prostate but wasn't hurting at all.
Day 2 - I skipped my dose because I was scared GOOD NEWS hairloss slowed down I would pull on my hairs on my hairline and hair wouldn't fall out!! (maybe 1-2)
Day 3 - Just took the next dose will keep you updated :)
Day 4 - Skipped dose lower sex drive but still working fine hair loss slower but hair is still falling
Day 5 Took my dose and shower'd tons of hairs use to fall out now more than half don't!! so it's working.
Day 6 - keep you updated

No offense, but are you trolling?

Checking if you can get an erection 10 minutes after taking your first dose? Dude you're definitely going to get nocebo.

And the idea of slowing down hairloss within 1 day is laughable.

Nope 100% I'm taking 0.25mg every other day :) and it works so far I'll keep you updated on what happens I don't shed on my hairline but I don't know yet if I'll shed later on

I had a similar reaction mate! When I bought my first pack of Propecia, just touching the packaging unfortunately gave me crippling ED and I was unable to get an erection or masturbate for over 13 minutes. Even asked my mum to help me but nothing worked! The good news was that just touching the packaging was enough to inhibit my DHT and slow my hairloss down. That was 8 years ago and my hair hasn't moved since. Good luck on the rest of your journey!

Just gonna ask a simple question relating this, guys who have hairloss and itchiness in the scalp (whenever there is itchiness, there is hairloss for me, common with aggressive hair loss), does taking finasteride reduce the itchiness straight away (in one or two days)?

Prob within a couple hours of taking it... I'm 4 months in and I still get the itch at least once a day on my temples :/

If you start finasteride have the blood work and pictures. Come back in 1 year with new pictures or sooner if you have major sides or issues. Otherwise why even come back on here? If finasteride doesnt work you cant do much about it anyway
Your talking about a long term rest of your life thing. Your talking years to see differences not days or months. A progress report after 2 days is like telling us you had a wart on your butt yesterday just pointless
If you never went to a hair loss site you would probably do better on propecia because the mind battle of sides and issues is the major big one.

Could you still shoot your load into your own mouth? That's how I assess if finasteride is worth it, give it a try
Lol you guys are just jealous I didn't shed :) like you all did and mine hairloss stopped instantly

Dude, it's scientifically/medically impossible for it to have worked within a few days.

Don't get me wrong, I want you to have success with finasteride. I do NOT want you to lose hair and I wish you nothing but well thoughts. BUT, in order for finasteride or dutasteride to have a systemic effect on your body and in order for them to have any sort of hormonal impact for it to affect your hair, it takes at least 3-4 months. And even that is generous. 8-12 months is when most people start seeing results.
