Aplunk, buddy, you know exactly what has to be done here. I made the same mistake last year when I went back to proscar for a couple of months (needless to say, I lost ground). It was a very "sheddy" experience!

I know you are distrustful of online sources, as I am (even the ones that people here swear by). But there are licensed online Canadian pharmacies out there that sell geniune brand-name Avo. for really good prices (if you order 3 mo. at a time). The best one for the price is canadapharmacyonline.com, which is also one of the oldest and most reputable online canadian pharmacies. As for the prescription, medicalwellnesscenter.com. This ends up over time being far cheaper than getting a free script from your Doctor and buying it at your local pharmacy.

As your loyal friend here on this forum, this is my most sincere recommendation. I hope it is of some value.

good advice from renegade. checked that canadian pharmacy site he mentioned and GSK Avodart is $500 for 360 tablets on there. Can't beat that. If you take it every other day, Aplunk, that's $250 a year plus the MWC script cost.

Thank you guys!

I am awwed by your suggestions. The prices seem a little too low. Renegade, have you used this website before?

Anywho, if these prices hold up, I think it would be worth it to purchase an entire year's worth and use it everday!

You hair is short in the first pic...when you thin out your hair will ALWAYS look worse when its longer after a certain point.

My hair is down to a half an inch on top and I look ok, if it was 2 or 3 inches long it would look like sh*t.

Just my opinion but your hair looks very healthy and thick enough to me.

sorry it took me so long to reply. I always forget to check back on threads.

Aplunk state is almost identical to mine... I feel that finasteride is not enough so i might sacrifice other things to switch to dutasteride.

It is the first time in years I hear someone who has great results with dutasteride, swtiches back to Propecia due of money reasons, knowing he can lose all the hair he gained or maintained thanks to dutasteride...

Very original Dutasteride marketing....

ohh.. and BTW.. I suggest you let your hair grow longer.

You are not in a position to wear a 10 milimeters long hair style. We are not gifted like George Clooney or Brad Pitt... Face the truth!

With that short haircut, you will keep looking like a divorced 55 year old man... It totally reveals your grandfather hairline.

Let it grow longer and you will look 30 years younger. I really don't understand by so many guys with grandfather hairlines cut it SO SHORT!!! it's insane!!! Let it grow longer and you will look your age...

Sorry for the late response Alpunk. Yes, I have used this source on and off for the past year. It will be "on" from here out, unless of course another similarly situated pharmacy can beat their prices.

Right now I am turning the corner out of that 2-month shed during the 6-8 month mark (this one was way worse than the first - hair looked worse than ever it seemed). But man, I can see a lot of new growth now! I am completely stoked and will give another update in a couple of months.
