hi every1 i had an accident a little while ago and fractured my skull and grazed all my face and scalp in the thinning area, broke 4 ribs etc .im thinning in a noorwood 3a pattern .no bald spots .ive first saw i was losing hair 10 years ago ,because i had my hair in corn rows and the hairdresser said i was thinning .so it took 10 years to get a noorwood 2a maby 3a.its just diffuse in the 2 a area, any way the dayafter my accident my hairloss has completely stopped .

before the accident for the last 10 years if i gently tug on my thinning area at least 10 hairs come out.now if i tug test i cant get 1 hair out,and its defo getting thicker really quickly ,so why would all my thinning area finally wake up after all this time and enter the anagen stage ,from the resting stage,i cant believe my eyes every morning i tug test my hairloss and i cant get a hair out,,could my hairloss really be reversing this quickly WITH NO TREATMENT.

ps there is no history of hairloss in either side of my fam so i was surprised when i saw thinning .maby it was having my hair in tight braids, and its taken years to recover,i just dont know .any ideas :woot:

I volunteer CCS to give himself a wallop over the head with a hammer, just to see what happens.
It might even sort out the inside of his head too :punk:

Are you using nizoral? I use the nizoral 1 percent and noticed the same thing
(I'm also an nw2 or 3). For ten years, every time I rubbed my hand though my hair I would collect several hairs.

Suddenly after a few months using nizoral (twice a week) it all stopped. It's been about three months now and still the balding has stopped. I had no idea Nizoral was a hairloss shampoo. :smack:

It's also thickened up quite a bit.

If not, it could be that our hairloss has just stopped. I noticed the same thing with my dad, in pictures it appears that he's been an NW2 or 3 since his late 20s... and now he's 63.

Still, imo, get on the finasteride and minoxidil; you could get some regrowth or keep the loss stopped... in case it has any plans of re-starting.
