I am 32 by now and i lost alot of my hair when i was 17.

The thing is that this hairloss happened within a 3 hours period. I played on-line game, slept for 3 hours, and woke up with 80% of my headhair all over my bed.

I thought i was in a shock or something. My hair didnt and does not look like the typical hair loss for men.

Its thin all over my head but i havent had a receding hairline.

For 15 years, i havent noticed ANY change on my hair. I have not lost any hair, i have not gained any hair at all.
I have been lifting alot, i train heavily 5 times a week (including heavy squats 3 times a week) while taking tons of creatine, PWO and protein and still not a single hair gone.

I have always had a shaved head. But after i took a vacation, i noticed that my hair is still exactly the same.

I have a picture that looks EXACTLY like my hairloss that i have uploaded. Everything is the same, the looks, the hairtype..

Trust me, ive counted bald men for 15 years, and i havent seen this type of hairloss in any man. It usually just happen to women. But im a male.

Im kind of puzzled. I have been trying to get help from some doctors but they dont seem to care about my hairloss.

I am starting to suspect that this is not normal balding. I think that due to stress and system shock, my hair went to a sleep cycle and havent been awakened.

Is there any chance i can get my hair back? Anyone experienced something similar?

I tested my testosterone, it is on midrange. I havent tested minerals but i think i am good as i take supplements. :)

Thinking about it, i think i had a thyroid/throat surgery done at a younger age due to being infected there alot, can this have something to do with my sudden hairloss? Thanks.

EDIT: also had some heart problem at a younger age with heartache and palpilation almost making me faint. Some bone sticked out of my chest where the heart is. But doctors didnt give me a proper look.

I dont think i can get my hair restored by now. But its better to get a closer understanding to it, so i am really, really thankfull for the suggestions! I think my follicles are dead by now. I guess it requires some sort of extreme miracle to find out that they are still alive, in restplace and ready to bloom again. But miracles has happened before.

I will try getting a full check, or atleast parts of it, and hopefully it will help others regrow their hair or give them ideas.

Thanks for giving me hopes, i will contact the doctor tomorrow to try getting a time:D<3

Update. Doctor checked my head and he could not find anything unnormal. It was very hard for him to point out the case as it happened over 15 years ago and he wish i would have came to the doctor much earlier.

The only thing left to do is to check every single part of my body, but it will cost greatly here, so i expect this to happen around the winter hopefully.

Otherwise ill just sport the bald head and hope everyone wont repeat my mistake, go to the doctor while the shedding happens.

I will try Minoxidil and a dermaroller, if nothing happens i will just sport my bald head. I am so used to my bald head that i wont consider using Finasteride or do a hair transplant. I have already forgotten how i looked with hair.

But if the other doctor finds something interesting, i will update if its possible, maybe the information will be valuable for others:D
