Definite improvement. The temples have come forward a little for sure. Nice work!
Hey guys, just a quick update, started taking finasteride on april 20th, still minoxidil twice, still no nizoral. here is a pic at the angle like the others,
It doesnt look like much, but there is things that only I have been able to see till now, now I can take a semi-decent picture of it
Curse my blonde hair, if only it were black it might be more obvious! lol.. What do you guys think? Ive been fealing these fuzzy hairs for like 3 months, there just now starting to really grow FINALLY.. I'm hoping it is a result of being on finasteride for only 16 days

What is the minoxidil stuff mate. A tablet or lotion?

Wow, the recessed parts are definitely starting to fill in/thicken up.
Almost looks like you had a hair transplant there! Give it a few more months and you'll probably be back to a NW2.

Wow you can really see the extent of your thinning when you shaved your head! Its amazing how well a blonde gives the illusion of volume. When your hair was longer it looks so thick towards the back! Yet when its shaved you thinning is revealed. The is very much the situation with me. I think its good you shaved it now. Its easier to apply the meds. But you definately dont want to keep it to short for to long, you dont even look like your balding when you have a little more length to your hair.
I think I can see your temples filling a little. Have you suffered a shed?

This pic was taken in perfect lighting from all directions, i even put a light above me and used flash.. it's near impossible to see the thinning uptop unless setup in perfect lighting, even when shaved. If i'm shedding I havnt noticed it yet.
I use about 1 bottle of minoxidil a month, I only apply it to the front.

Shawn, you take a pill called finasteride once a day, the full name for finasteride being finasteride, which is like propecia being another pill the same as finasteride, but more expensive, but propecia is famous for reducing a man's sex drive. I tried going on propecia for a while and it did indeed reduce my sex drive. My sex drive sucks as it is, if i go back on propecia, it'll get much weaker, perhaps nonexistence.
Does finasteride have the same side effect of reducing sex drive? I imagine propecia works by reducing a man's testerone levels, hence, reducing his sex drive in the process. What are finasteride's side effects, if any....? Oh ya, how much is finasteride, if its more expensive?
and what's nizoral? A pill or a topical solution?

Hey, well finasteride does have the same effect I think.. It's basicly the same thing, just cheaper.
But personally I'm 22 and I take half a pill in the morning and another half of the pill at night.. so thats a whole pill in 1 day, and I notice no difference from now and before I was taking the pill.
I payed about 30 bucks for 5 slips, which includes about 12 pills on each slip.. it's way cheaper than propecia.. I dunno if its less effective or not though. This is why I take pictures so often and post them here, so other people can see if these medicines have results.

dude very good progress- could u please state if you had the initial shed from using ur meds b4 it thickened up or not....??

I honestly only shed from minoxidil if at all, it was never anything noticable however.
Ive been on minoxidil for 5 months, finasteride for 45 day and Nizoral for 1 day. god I love Nizoral lol.. makes your hair feal frickin amazing.. Lots of new growth lately but I don't want to jinx myself with pictures right now.
