My regimine and it's working

Just wanted to drop a line and hopefully provide some encouragement for those in doubt or troubling times with hair.
I have been on propecia for almost two years, I have been using minoxidil for about 8 mos.-Dr. Lees in the morning and rogain in the evening, I have also been using Nizoral for almost two years. This comination has proven to be worth the time and effort, Looking at photos of myself from two years ago is like night and day. The thickness of my hair has improved drastically, my hairline has crept forward and people keep telling me that my hair looks thicker. The outline of where you used to be able to see my hair thinning has vanished. I am very pleased with the results and look forward to continuing with treatment to see how it progresses. btw I am a receder and I had diffusion in the front. I have not experienced any side effects of propecia the only side effect is a dry scalp from the minoxidil-which you have to keep on top of. I have rode through the sheds and probably have many more to come but to me it is well worth it. I am just glad that I know I am doing what I can and whatever the treatments yield is what you get......

You finally came around again. I remember you from when I was a newbie. You were so discouraged with propecia at first. I'm glad things are looking up. What and when was the turning point of your treatment? Keep us updated.

thanks badass, yes like most I had my bouts of discouragement, I would say that about 8 mos. ago I realized propecia was doing its job, shortly there after I added the minoxidil to try and spark some regrowth, about 4 mos. into the minoxidil it really started to come to fruition, now with finasteride, nizoral and minoxidil I think the combo is strong. Good show. I use emu oil to deal with the dryness, though it may also have anti-infammatory properties. My doctor also gave me a prescription for Nizoral, my scripts are free because I am on permanent thyroid medication. Have the thyroid checked regularly, it might be part of the problem if it is underactive.
There are alot more natural treatments you can use to improve your big 3 technique, eg. fenugreek, scalp exercises. However it is the task of creating vellus from completely minaturised hair which is the really difficult task. This is what my device does. I have been waiting for a promised expert contact from Admin, who told me to keep quiet about my device, but I am now challenging him to let his expert check out my results, or ban me. Freedom of information is what we deserve. If I get banned, you will know there is another agenda here. Please ask Admin to get my results confirmed by this expert.
Great to know that the finasteride etc. improves with age. I've only been into this for about 14 months. I now have thousands of new terminal hairs, though I do not know if I will get back tens of thousands, early days.
