My shitty situation( PICS Inside)

Hey all :!: ,

I have been on proscar 1.25mg for about 2 and half months now. Before this I was on Minoxidil 5% from July 2004 till Dec 2004.

During my minoxidil period, I think I noticed some overall thickening that time, however because of extremely puffy face and the crappy state minoxidil left my hair in the morning before work I decided to quit it cold turkey. :x

Waited 5 months from Dec2004 till Apr2005 for Minoxidil shed to subside. I lost tons of hair. And when things were sort of subsided, I decided to start with Proscar 1.25mg bitten from teeth on the advice of my GP. :?

All this while I have been on Nizoral 1%, once or twice a week.

2 and half months now and hair is sh*t. The horse shoe pattern is so obvious and hair is really thin. :cry:

I have asked this question before also but did not get any proper reply. Is biting of proscar effective? Does moisture react with broken proscar tablet rendering it ineffective?

how about yr hair situtation before you have used minoxidil 5%?

I have the similar experience with you.

2.5 months is far too early to make any judgement, especially after quitting minoxidil, give it time.

I have asked this question before also but did not get any proper reply. Is biting of proscar effective? Does moisture react with broken proscar tablet rendering it ineffective?

Whilst I doubt air or light will have a detremantal effect on Proscar, I would steer away from moisture and excessive heat, but I doubt the small amount of moisture from biting will have much effect.

I am hoping that finasteride + nizoral can thicken up my existing hair.

I will be happy with thickening of existing hair.

Seriously considering to use toppik to hide the thinning for the time being.. but a bit scared that what if it gets detected?

my hair before minoxidil was probably the same/similar but was thicker.

I think I did not see any scalp on crown and top before I quit minoxidil..but now I can. :-x

 

[Thinning Sucks]

How old are you....I am very similar or worst than you are. Try Couvre....been on it for 14 years. You will have a perfect head of hair with it. Your crown is 50% better than mine is.
