Hi all.

I've been losing a lot of hair recently.
It all started probably 3-4 years ago, when I was 18-19 years old.
Now I'm 22 and I lost most of my hair, and I feel really bad about it,
is there any chance I can reverse this, or transplant is the only solution (because my hair back and sides is really thick) but on top and front it keeps falling..

I recently started taking Dutasteride and Regaine.
I also bought a shampoo Regenepure DR, but it is a bit expensive, so I'm actually looking for a replacement (if you can recommend something)

I just started my treatment, was using Regaine before, not for a long time, but stopped.

Please tell me what you think, any advices.

Thank you..

hey brother, Why jump right to dutasteride when finasteride may suffice? Either way, with your regiment, you're doing all you can. No need for "regaine" whatever that is. Just get some cheap generic minoxidil liquid or foam. It's all the same. I would also consider dermarolling a couple times a week. I don't usually give advice about this, but I personally think your hair will look a lot better shorter on the top and with clean, short sides, perhaps even buzzed on sides and back. It will make it look thicker. good luck!

In some countries, like Italy, rogaine's name is actually regaine, as the company did not have the bureaucratic issues that made it name it with that weird ro-word :).

@Bobby: sorry to see your male pattern baldness is that aggressive. try finasteride and re/rogaine for some months and check the results...

Thank you for your comments!

:)

Yes Regaine is another name for Rogaine here in the UK.
It's 5% Minoxidil Foam.
I believe it's the same manufacturer

Currently I'm also using hair fibres, toppik, etc to cover the spots, I'm hoping they won't go any bigger

About the hairstyle, I don't know, I'm at the point of my life where I like my hair a bit longer,
also from what people've told me, looks better on me.

Maybe I'll change it in the future, but for now, it's just not possible because of this hairloss.

Have a good day.
