My Top 5 Reservations about Fluridil

It looks a promising treatment for people who for whatever reason cant take internal 5ar/DHT blockers but I have doubts about something that will cost close to 40eur a month to use

1. the "ampoules" presentation reminds me of scam products like A&G Hair Complex and PilFood Direct
2. outside of the two photos in the study there is no pictorial evidence of anyone getting success with it on hair forums. there's just a lot of positive testimonials
3. in the study itself after 9 months the percentage of anagen hairs only incresed to 87% from a baseline of 76%. Are these results really good enough?
4. the methods of the study look good apart from bizarre decision to move placebo subjects onto the fluridil group after 3 months as it would have been "unethical" to carry on with the experiment given the success of the fluridil group after 3 months
5. it looses effectiveness in contact with water: this poses huge problems for anyone who is also on a minoxidil regime

anyone care to counter?

How are you combining it with minoxidil? I use foam; not sure of the water content of that.

My reservation is that despite Fluridil being only a weak/moderate anti-androgen, it's still causing sides in some people...

This is my gripe about all anti-androgens, there's nothing out there that's "100% safe" and if it is proven safe then it most probably doesn't work.

fluridil is a way for a company to rape you of your money. Don't waste a dime on that sh*t. It hasn't done anything for anybody...

I also have this concern. I definitely want to add Tricomin, spironolactone and minoxidil into my regimen. How are people going about using Fluridil in combination with other topicals?

I think I remember someone saying they used Monox first, made sure their hair was completely dry and then used Fluridil.

Fluridil is best applied at night before bed, I believe. I apply it an hour before bed.

I could potentially have the treatment pattern of

Minoxidil - AM
Fluridil - PM

or

Minoxidil - AM
Fluridil - Mid day
Minoxidil - PM

However I would want to avoid putting alcoholic based solutions on my head three times every day. I think twice is enough for the scalp.

I have now been using Eucapil (Fluridil ) , two ampules before bedtime covering my whole scalp, for 3,5 months. Here's my experience so far. In the first two weeks nothing happened, shedding hair as usual. Then my daily shedding of hairs decreased to nearly only two to five hairs. ( I'm counting shedded hairs after applying Eucapil ) This lasted for about three weeks and then the shedding continued as normal. I contacted Mr Jiri Prokop of Interpharma, the factory where Eucapil is produced and asked him if this shedding was normal. He said it was and that all users who overcame the initial shed have had positive results. I should start to see positive results after about four months. I still have about a months supply of Eucapil but I don't think I will be seeing any positive results. I just don't believe the claims the sellers of Eucapil are making or Mr Prokop.
I've done a lot of searching on google and many users seem to have had the same experience as me. ( I believe monty to be one of them ) First a decrease in shedding but after a while the increased shedding starts again and no positive results at all. Of all the reviews on various hairboards about Eucapil there have only been 2 to 3 positive results. Most users don't have anything positive to report. I agree with those that say that Eucapil is a scam or snakeoil or whatever negative name you want to give it. It halts shedding for a little while but after that short period up goes the shedding again. I have no clue why Eucapil seems to slow or stop the daily loss of hairs for a few weeks though.
Hope this helps some of yoy who want to try this product, I would not try it if I were you. I'm giving up on it after my last box is done and want to try RU58841.

That reason right there tells me it is a scam. Desperate baldies will buy it anyway.

It does have anti-androgen (or androgen blocker, whatever is the correct phrase) properties though doesn't it? I mean its chemical structure looks quite similar to RU55841 and Flutamide

Monty, did'nt Fluridil halt your shedding for a few weeks and after that your shedding began again? ( that;s been my experience after 3,5 months of usage )

Yes, didn't you mention that Fluridil helped while you were recovering after getting off of finasteride. But after several months or so, the shedding was back to where it was. I've been on Fluridil for almost 4 weeks now, but no discernible results so far.

I've ran out of the stuff, and now the shedding is back :(

I'll be interested to see if the reduced shedding continues a few months down the line.

I have been using it for a few months now. I was using finasteride before but had to stop due to sexual side effects. Fluridil has not been very effective in my experience. My shedding seems to slow down a lot but regrowth was non-existent.
