My brother, who is a NW6 or 7, was told he looked like "a dick with ears" by a gambler at the casino where he used to deal blackjack. Knowing my brother, it shocks me that he didn't punch the guys lights out.

Actually, the only thing that probably stopped him was the fact that he was entering the academy for corrections officers a couple months down the road. Otherwise, knowing him and the way he was back then (this was 10 years ago) he wouldn't have hesitated. He hated dealing blackjack anway.

Hairloss is a disability, its out of our control.

Really? i don't see how dealing with hairloss is the same as someone who is physically disabled?
Sure it's annoying, hard to deal with, and frustrating, but I thank god for what I have when I see someone who truly has to get through life with a disadvantage. That of course is my opinion, and maybe folks will disagree with me..

It is easier to deal with hairloss when one is married, has a family. Hairloss for young, single guys IS a form of disability. Women will generally pass them over for the more hairy guys !!!

Older women deal with hairloss much better. Date older, and find a fat one...they have NO room to talk lol.

It was kind of taking the piss, the guy shaved it into the horseshoe pattern to see how bad it looks but he knows that he's not stuck with it.

It is less of a problem for older people in general but BOLLOCKS to all that I say, f*****g shave or buzz it off and get out there if you're young and bald!! I'm 22 and well bald but I stopped giving a sh*t about it. There's nothing I can do now so why waste energy on it. My mates with fancy hairstyles (one gets his done off his pro hairdresser friend, who incidentally shaves it off and is a bonafide fanny magnet) do just as well as me, they even get pissed off with the fact that hair is in thier eyes and have thought about buzzing it off. So it's only an issue if you let it be!

Depends how you look with it shaved, if that look does'nt suit you... . If you can shave it you'll certainly save yourself a lot of grief in the longrun.
