Well, I think I'm going to go ahead with the buzz look pretty soon. My problem area is up front with thinning and receding. A problem I have is that in the back at the vertex I have and have always had since before I can remember, a small bald spot (about the size of a nickel)....I probably hit my head there when I was a baby or maybe it's just a birthmark kinda thing. Anyway, it's stayed the same size as I've grown through the years and it's easy to cover up. But I'm worried that with a buzz it will stand out. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do about this? Would a cover up make it less noticable.....? What kind? Please let me know what you think!!!

Joe, I often get a flat top haircut that is square in the front but almost shaved to the scalp in the crown area, so much so that you really can't tell if I have hair growing on the crown area (even though I have a lot there) try a cut like that. I would guess that would be sufficient to conceal the area you are talking about.

You could try some Toppik, if you're comfortable with something like that. Also, ask your hair stylist what he thinks. They're trained to determine ahead of time how a certain cut will affect your hair's appearance in those areas.

hey

gourmetstylewellness.com, toppik bonds to your existing hair to fill it in, but if I have a real short cut, how is that going to help? Do you thin couvre?
