i wish it was that simple mate. well sounds like you caught it early so at least your doing all you can to stop it progressing. just give it time and maybe the temple will fill in i had the same thing when i started lossing my temples but slowly now i am on treatment they are filling in a little with the left one still lagging but its the same pattern that i was lossing it in just in reverse. i am doutfull i will be able to ever go back to a norwood 1 but it def showinf signs that the left temple is going to catch the right one up but it takes time im affraid.
good luck

no amount of medication will stop the maturing hairline for very long, if at all. eventually the other temple will catch up. my hairline matured the same way in my late teens.

then again, I've had the same hairline for about five years now, and my right temple has always been sliiiiightly bigger than the left.

and, if I'm reading your post right, you were on propecia/minoxidil as a Nw1? why, out of curiosity?

well because my dads bald hes like 47 or 45 not sure, and his balding is honestly not like severe but none the less he is bald on top, im on propecia because i think i have a great chance to maintain my hair because i doubt that i have aggressive male pattern baldness and if my hair is anything like my dads propecia should work fine for me, and the minoxidil is to restore my hairline and some slight thinning ive noticed on that same side where my right temple is a little receded

fair enough, and I can't blame you, I'd imagine you could keep your hair for far longer than the average responder if you start before it's really visible..

of course, if you're not balding, you might be wasting your money, but I guess I could see an upside to both methods.
