Need Information On Finasteride And Minoxidil

I'm 22 facing some balding on the crown area. I don't know much about these medicines so I would appreciate if someone could tell me more about them. Should I take them both or just finasteride? Also what should be the amount?

Start finasteride on its own and give it 12 months, if not getting any regrowth or not as much as you would like add minoxidil+dermarolling. You don't really have to apply it twice a day, once at night before bed is fine.

Thanks. What quantity should I take? 0.5mg or more?
Also some people on the forum wrote that they lost even more hair after taking it. Is that possible?
