Need Opinion On Progress/Status of Hair Loss

Hey guys, I would really appreciate your opinion on my hair loss overall and whether it looks like i have new hair growth. By the way I am a healthy 18 years old.

Pull your hair back and show a birdseye view and side profile views. It's very difficult to judge wit these photos. Also is this a before or after photo? Are you on medication? Your temple points are thinning out so that's not a good sign for your age.

I have what seems to be a lot of short hair growing in. And I am on Rogaine 5 percent, Nizoral 1 present and some supplements. These are about one month after. I don't have any quality pictures from before.

I'm just kinda worried about the side effects from finasteride. I feel like I'm starting to grow a lot back because i lost a lot of long hairs but now there are shorter hairs taking the place.

I'm going to be straight with you. Your hairline is okay, but you need finasteride. If you don't take finasteride, you'll probably be bald by 30, maybe even 25. Your hairline is still okay, but you're 18 and showing strong early stage male pattern baldness, and at such a young age, that's a sign for aggressive male pattern baldness. Finasteride is a must.

Another question... How can I tell if the hair I'm seeing is new growth because I'm not sure if I have new growth or my hair has just receded further?
