Hello everyone!

I would just like some second opinions on whether or not I'm in the early stages of losing my hair. It's driving me nuts and causing me to stress, which I'm sure is not helping. Sometimes I think I am, sometimes I think I'm not. Sometimes it just depends on how my hair is styled. How it started was, at new years a family friend said he saw what looked like a bald spot on the back of my head, although he seemed to be half kidding at the time. But it got me wondering, though it's hard to tell. Then, today my mom said it looked like my hairline was receding, as it's in sort of a U shape. But in my opinion, my hairline has been about the same since I was 18 or 19.

If it makes a difference in genes, my dad started balding when he was 18. On my mom's side, my grandfather has all his hair still.

Anyways, here's an album. Let me know what you think. http://imgur.com/a/0jJpO

Thanks!

You are probably around a NW2.5. Get on a treatment asap and you may recover some temple regrowth.

Just need to add that it doesn't look that bad yet and you have caught it just in time

Definitely receding and have some minor diffuse thinning. I had less loss than you and started on finasteride.

Hey, man. Do you possess a photo of your hair when you were 18/19? Just to compare with your recent photos and ascertain whether you have experienced any hair loss.

Hey, thanks for the responses everyone. I'm wasn't too concerned about my hairline, but maybe I should be? I was never really a big fan of how my hairline matured, so I always pushed my hair forward/down or angled my bangs to cover my temples a little better.

There are some in my original album, but here are two that show my temples a little more: https://imgur.com/a/mKefn

Get married while you still can. Women from Toronto despise bald men more than any other around the world.

You remind me of me at your age.

Looking at these photos, I was a lot like you at your age.. And I am now 45. I might have had hair that was more "fine" (less body), but I was upset over my new "Morrissey" hairline, when I had a a "Dave Gahan" hairline in high school.. Dave Gahan was the singer of Depeche and Morrissey is Morrisey (The Smiths).. Ok, so now you know who I tried to be in high school.. Ha ha..

Well, you have over twenty years of medical advancements on your side than I did on my side in the early 90s.. That said, both of my grandfathers were completely bald by my age now.. I still have some balding and plenty recession, but it is something.. So I hung onto something that it looks like genes were out to take from me.. And I can work it to look like im going around with hair.. You will be thankful for what you have when you can have it.. And after having my head shaved once, its not my thing to be bald..

1. Since the early 1990s I have off and on used Minoxidil.. Over the last ten years I have been buying it and actually pouring it into my hands and smothering my scalp with it on occasion.. Its somewhat off and on but lately has been more on.. And it is like scooping it onto my head and complete saturation... Like its a leave in conditioner.

2. I have also tied to do a lot of aerobic exercise over the years of my life. I believe this helps with hormones. But for you I think keep yourself in as shape as possible. Given the need to go bald, you will always look better...

3. Lately I have started using Tricomin and and noticing growth.. If nothing else its making existing hairs more robust.

4. I began using Regene Pro about five years ago.. And just began using Nizoral every third day...

Hope this helps!
