False. I had a much smaller forehead when I was 15 which made my hairline look a lot lower. Ever make a character in a video game with an editor that allowed to change every physical characteristic? Try making a girl and then make her forehead 10x bigger, now it looks like her hairline is "receding".

It's a combination of larger forehead + slight recession.

How is what i said false? You say that but dont cite any evidence to the contrary. Look it up yourself. Mature hairlines are caused by DHT same as regular old male pattern baldness. Do your research buddy. His hairline is obviously receding at the temples. Its more than just a "high forehead"

Honestly i dont know what it is with this forum. If a young guy posts OP's hairline its "Mature" but if someone older 26+ posts the same one its "get on finasteride, you are balding"

Got news for you OP. "Mature hairline" is still balding. It just sounds nicer. A lot of guys use the term because they dont want to admit they are balding when they are.

I would take having a mature hairline/slight male pattern baldness as a warning sign and get on preventative treatments.

@reyl I also doubt your forehead grew much since you were 15. Your hairline just receded making it look bigger. Don't spread false information because you cant deal with the fact you are balding. Slightly balding "mature hairlines" are still balding,

Then what's the difference between a mature hairline in someone whose hairloss stagnates permanently VS someone who goes all the way to balding? What's the reason it doesn't happen in the first scenario?
