Need to replace Minoxidil 5%--help

Hi guys,

Most of you know I have been using the Big Three for about 18 months and minoxidil for about 12 yrs (first the 2% and then about 18 months ago, 5%).

Long story short, nice results. But, I believe that I am recently coming undone by minoxidil (headache, dizziness, low blood pressure) and may need to stop using 5%.

I plan on moving back to 2% to see how I respond, as I never had any side effects with 2% (BTW- I started using TSAL about 2 months ago and my symptoms started shortly thereafter. This may substantiate Dr. Lees statements that TSAL helps improve the absorption of minoxidil).

Anyway, I am looking for experienc/suggestions about what to add to my routine to help with the growth stimulation phase.

I am planning on using NANO shampoo more regularly and getting more religious on Folligen Theray Spray. Any other ideas on growth stimulants????

Thanks for you help and I am freaking out a bit as my results over the last 6 months have been pretty impressive.

i would if u havent already drop tsal for a few months and see how it goes..as for effective growth stimulants....i would wait for FDA data from the laser comb(due in next month or two) and see what that reports...from what i hear they will be able to make claims that show it regrows hair, i releasie lots of people are unsure abt this product but who knows

Bruce,

You are one of the most knowledgable ppl here so I'm not sure if there is anything I could suggest that you havent considered but I'll give it a try.

1) Go back to 2% like you suggested(less effective though)

2) Lay off the Tsal a bit

3) keep the 5% and the Tsal, but just scale back to using the minoxidil once a day and being skimpy with the application.

4) See your cardiologist 8O

5) Go with the other proven stimulants like SOD's and copper peptides. Prox-N, Folligen, Tricomin etc.

this is all I can think of

Peace.

Thanks vortex.

Good suggestions and I am already ramping up the NANO and Folligen. The elimination of TSAL is easy and the once a day strategy on minoxidil may prove useful.

Of course, I am staying away from the doomsday scenario, such as brain tumor and the like. What is funny is that I was more worried about losing my hair than the possibility of a tumor.

Is hair loss wierd or what??????

Thanks bro!
