Hey guys so i just received my folligen spray in the mail today, and have a bunch of questions. It has no instructions to it, so i was hoping someone could tell me:
1) do i need to shake it before using?
2) how many pumps do I spray on my hair?
3) I use rogaine foam also. What should be applied first? How far apart should their applications be?
4) Do I use it once a day? twice a day? once every other day?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

1) You don't need to shake it
2) enough to gently cover the scalp - light ammount
3) the maker suggest rogaine, then folligen 1 minute after, it doesn't really matter.
4) use it once a day or once every other day

no problem, I added folligen 1 month ago to 5 months of rogaine liquid so I am curious how it will go for you. keep us updated on you story or here.
And good luck!

hey swopo, hows folligen going for you?

Ive been using it for a little less than 2 months now. So far I've had very very tiny hairs sprouting on my temples, but thats it. Still early though, Im optimistic.

Any positive results for you?

Hey flaming, I don't really know... I took pictures every month since started using it... it's around 3 months now.

EXISTING HAIR
I don't really see any difference in my existing hair and I was shedding bad all the time, started 1 month after using it, it lasted 2 months till around now...(60-70 when I applied topicals at night and around 100 in the shower every morning). Now it's normal, like after the regaine shed (around 50 a day every morning in the shower and around 10-15 when I apply topicals at night) Maybe the hair is more beautiful(probably because I started using conditioners at that time too).. not really much difference, but better.

BALD TEMPLES
After 10 days of using it, I saw vellous hairs from minoxidil, which were non pigmented, getting a bit thicker and pigmented (very small difference but noticeable).. I think they were getting thicker and longer very slowly, but I haven't seen any progress since about a month.

How is your existing hair btw. any difference?

nah I've had the same results as you it seems. I sheded a lot at first. The shed has stopped, but my existing hair is still the same and my temples have had no regrowth.

We should post an update in a month or so. If there will be no difference, I will then stop applying to the temples and hope to maintain my existing hair and wear a partial system in the front

yeah i figured i'd give it around 6 months until i decide if it makes any difference.

Also, how long do you expect your first bottle to last?

Ive been using this every other day for almost 2 months and i still have like 80% of my bottle left. This stuff should last me forever

Yeah it's a lot of folligen in there :). i have like 70% left.
6 months would be a good period to draw the line... but I am just too tired of waiting 4 years for the results, when I know I can have an instant hairline

Hi, I've been using folligen cream for about 3 months now, 3-4 times a week over the night.

Since I've started using it the irritation and burning I've got from minoxidil are pretty much completely gone. I'm also not shedding any significant amount of hair anymore either.

Before I used it I'd sometimes have up to 30 hairs lying in the sink just brushing my dry hair, not it's one or two tops. As for visible differences, I'm not sure if it improved since I started.
My hair is definitly better than it was two years ago when I started treatment, but it's not yet at a point where I'm happy with it. The diffuse thinning all over my scalp is slightly better, and suprisingly enough my temples are continuously improving, while the hairline stayed just about the same. When I party my hair I have a LOT of shorter hairssticking up though, I'd estimate that I'd have perfect coverage if they ever turned terminal.

Folligen is in my opinion a great addition to minoxidil, but don't expect any miracles, it's more of a scalp treatment than a genuine hair growth stimulant.

I use it also to cover up my greasy hair from minoxidil.... in the morning, when I use minoxidil, my hair would be wet/greasy and when it dries out, the hair has some white stuff on it and it's noticeable. So after I apply minoxidil, I spray folligen 2× on my hair and it dries out quicker and when it dries, the hair doesn't have this white sediment... I mean maybe it has, but it's not noticeable.. it just looks like I used a bit of gel.

Did you guys notice a vast increase shedding right after starting folligen? Also, how are you now getting on since the addition of folligen?

Cheers
