new growth

I have been on finasteride for three months today and notice quite a few half inch black hairs springing up in frontal area, which is rather thin. My question is I have been on foam not too consistantly for about 1.5 months. Do you think the new growth is from finasteride or minoxidil?

could be either 1,although i bet you would prefer it to be the finasteride,you say it is a few new hairs i hope thay are the first of many more for you.

my question is how do you know they are new hairs growing and not old hairs miniaturizing. I have quite a few hairs growing in the fronal region that are thin and some longer then an inch. im currently using foam and no finasteride.

MOst seem to be the same length and were not there at the start of treatment. Even if they are miniturizing, the treatment should allow them to stay alive I hope?

Anyone else see a lot of new hairs growing...is this a sign of good? There are too many to count by hand thats for sure!

After 2 months I am seeing a lot of peach fuzz on finasteride but no dark hairs yet. At least my peach fuzz continues to get longer, so there is hope!
