Ok, first off great board.

I have just a few questions. I looked at the box for the 5% rogaine and saw that it is only to be used on the vortex or back of the head. This does me no good as my hairloss seems to be at the front hair line or forhead/hairline interface. Is rogaine ok to use for this?? From my brief research it seems to be ok. Perhaps XandroX is a better product to use for this scenerio?? any advice would be much appertiated

Yes it can still work on the hairline. Go ahead and apply it. They put that on the box because of the legal requirements and they didn't go through the clinical trials with the temple recession.

Irritation is pretty common from my research. There is a good chance you may experience some, yes. Probably in the form of scalp flaking and itching. I don't use Minoxidil myself, but I've done plenty of searching on it. I too would like to know all of my options and what to expect. :)

Are you using a DHT inhibitor along with your rogaine?

i am not using anything as of now.

I was going to ask my doctor for some propecia. As that combined with a product like rogaine seem to be the the best combo

off topic question for the_beast

Have you had good results with the Tricomin products?

and, does your hair look ok, after appliying so many topicals every day?

I mean, revivogen and tricomin, or do you wash your hair between?

cheers.

I only wash once per day. Honestly, my hair feels excellent now that I added the Tricomin. I think it's an incredible product. No itch, no irritation.

I do use alot of topicals, but it doesnt irritate me or make my hair look like crap. I use the 5% spironolactone, and since it has no PPG/Alcohol it doesn't irritate at all. Actually feels kind of good, because it has some Aloe in it. I put that on about an hour after the tricomin spray after my morning shower.

The Revivogen does indeed make your hair look nasty and slightly smelly. I use it before bed though so it's not a problem. It washes out clean after my morning shower and my hair is left feeling / looking good cause of the Tricomin.

Results so far? Too early to see growth. My hair loss has halted completely at this point though. I've been on Nizoral for a while, much longer than everything else, and I attribute probably 95% of halt to that.
