Hi forgive me I'm new here, but...

I seem to have the opposite problem, and can't find any support group resources. My body hair literally grows faster than I can keep up with it. If I shave my back at 7am, it's 5-o-clock shadow by 8, and no joke, by 10pm, my back hair is over 3/4's of an inch long. Does anyone know of any groups that help people with this sort of thing? I was called "wolverine" in high school, and I can't deal with it any more.

Guys, he said his back hair grows almost an inch a day! Remember the wolf people from the circus side shows?? He obviously is being treated medically for this and is simply looking for some support.

Maybe he came to the right spot. Couldn't he make a killing donating body hair to guys on this site with no donor area for hair transplants?

See a doctor and discuss with them, get laser (lazer in the US ?) work done on it! that will get rid of it long term (shame lasers cant actually do the opposite and grow hair).

Technically he can because hair follicles are immune-privileged(1). But it's not practical because each follicle will have to be stripped of scalp tissue which will be attacked by antibodies.

What I find hard to believe is growing hair about an inch in a day. Greg, are you playing us?

Excuse me finfighter, did you read my entire post and the Jahoda experiment?

Do you even know the difference between scalp tissue and the dermal papilla?

Show me a study.

Are you aware that the cornea is immune-privileged?

Are you aware that a transplanted LIVER, given enought time, allows a transplantee to stop his immune suppresant drugs?

You can;t transplant follicles that contain scalp tissue to another person. It will be rejected. You have to strip every cell of scalp tissue and the connecting capilliary first. It's not practical but possible.

A transplant surgeon is NOT a reseacher.

Thank you. All I said is it's TECHNICALLY possible but NOT PRACTICAL.

You've been hostile ever since I started posting here. You must be very smart.
