Just got my order in and was wondering how do you know if it's the new formulia ?

The serum is a dark brown and no where does it mention caffeine ?

I orderd direct from Revivogen as well.

I looked and the batch # is 7-10 what's the new batch #?

The shampoo and conditioner is 101025 exp
10-25-13

If this is the old batch I need to see if I can get an exchange.

Does it mention anything about liposomes or encpasulation?

no caffeine in the ingredients? DARK brown? the new formula is closer to a beer (golden-amber) tone than a coffee tone

sounds like you may have an old batch

email them, maybe they will exchange it for you. I asked them for a replacement dropper (my original dropper leaked) and they OVERNIGHTED it to me, granted im not far from LA. My guess is you would still have fast service wherever you are. Contact them and see what they can do for you, just give them your order info and address and stuff

I believe the new batch should have a 2013 expiry date, it looks as though your shampoo and conditioner are right but if your serum doesnt have a 2013 expiry date then contact them for a replacement

Thanks

Yup it's the old batch. Contacted them and they are swapping it out no problem !!

Very good customer support, I was amazed how fast and friendly.

I was thinking about the shampoo , you think it's right ??

I may email them the batch number just to be safe.

Is there any difference staining wise ?

What I have here is dark brown and definitely stains. I had it open for a minute and it was on me, the counter and my shirt ...

I mean if they are gonna take full care of shipping and everything why not, might as well take the offer.

W/out the phospholipids or whatever..right? Or lecithin maybe? I can't get any response from them....or anyone here on it either :dunno: There's nothing on their website anymore about it being lipo/nanosomal.

Jacob, I think the formula absorbs TRANSDERMALLY due to the oils in the formula similar to emu oil. I don't remember every hearing about liposomes in the formula. Call their customer service line and just ask them. Honestly, I don't know why you even care since you are never going to use it anyway. My hair texture is getting thicker feeling and shedding has decreased alot.

I wouldn't say I'm entirely uninterested in using it..if the new formula and these new users start posting positive results..I may consider it.

I'm just curious if and why they changed something like the delivery system w/out saying anything about it. I guess it's lighter in color these days as well..with not much else changing in the ingreds list(from what others have said). So something has obviously changed besides not encapsulating the ingredients anymore.

But yep..they've used liposomes. See: http://www.gourmetstylewellness.com/hair-loss-news/article66.php

Other enhancements include refinement of fatty acids and addition of a liposomal delivery system.

Addition of liposomal delivery system is another enhancement of Revivogen formula. Liposome's are microscopic lipid packets that are used for delivery of many medications and are commonly used by the pharmaceutical companies in topical preparations. Adding liposomal delivery system further enhances the absorption of the active ingredients into the skin and aids in their delivery to the hair follicle where they can exert their effects.

I did a quick search and they've used 'em going as far back as 2005..could even be earlier.

So this Revivogen we're talking about is the scalp therapy, right?

I only have the shampoo + conditioner. Are people also using that? Maybe it isn't enough?

If this scalp liquid treatment is a good alternative to minoxidil, then I might just go ahead and try it.

yes its the scalp therapy

I dont know if you could compare it as an alternative to minoxidil as that is a growth stimulant whereas revivogen is marketed as a product that slows down / halts hair loss and thickens up existing hair.

Ive been on revivogen for almost 3 weeks now and i believe its already making a difference, my thinning crown looks a bit thicker and the thing that makes me believe something is happening is that im definitely using less nanogen concealer every morning.

Thanks for the response. I think I'll get the rogaine foam, mainly for my crown & little bit for temples. And then the revivogen for mainly the temple/hairline.

I have my propecia, but I don't feel like starting it. Maybe as a last resort.

Has anyone bought Revivogen from the products available for sale through this forum?

If so is it the new formula?

The offer is very good value for money and I plan on purchasing 6 months supply if so.

If not is there any difference in the effectiveness of the new formula? or is it just cosmetic?
