New Treatments??

Hello everyone. I don't want to throw some pitty party ****, but I've been down. I mean really depressed. I have taken propecia in the past for prostate issues and had horrible symptoms (I had never even heard of propecia help, so it wasn't that playing with my head).

I was just trying to see if we could possibly make a list of new treatments or possible treatments or treatments coming very soon. I mean are there really no new drugs or anything out that works and doesn't have the same side effects as propecia??

Well according to the fact that Minoxidil has been known to help people for many years, you're definitely a dick for saying **** like that. I'm just seeing about other things. As far as taking it, I've already stated that I have horrible symptoms from it. I actually still live with the symptoms from it.

Some people dont like to hear the truth. The truth is finasteride is one of the only real choices you have. Its an androgen mediated disease and minoxidil is largely a regrowth agent even if its method of action is pretty poorly understood. I know a guy that tried minoxidil first and he is very well bald now. I just dont think minoxidil is going to keep hair long term for most men. Just my opinion and like butts everyone has them

I appreciate you being kind, but I mean I have done some research and there really are plenty of drugs being worked on. There are very serious complications for some people and finasteride simply doesn't work for others. There has to be reasons for that. It isn't that I'm worried about side effects. I've taken Propecia before and still suffer from side effects. So I know I have side effects from it is what I'm saying. And when I began having problems, I had never heard of Propecia help.

I merely had an issue with my prostate. The doctor prescribed me Propecia. I took and didn't think anything of it. It wasn't until quite a while of side effects before things started adding up. This was years ago.

when can we expect to see septi replace finasteride? what about hair cloning?





also, ****.. i am about to start my regimen on monday, but am now scared again.. went to read the propecia help forum and it terrified me a little.. saying how ppl exp. sides even years after stopping the drug and even with taking exogenous testosterone.......wtf.

Hey man what are some of the sides you have experienced?

Mine have been totally different from the normal so I can't 100% say it's Propecia but the timing is just too perfect, and I was around 18 at the time, so to have the issues is crazy. Plus, many people have said this is a side effect.

To tell you, I began having extremely bad dry eyes while taking it. I got to where I couldn't play video games or watch TV. I finally found a doctor and got on Restasis. I still take it to this day. I finally attributed it to the Propecia after it hit me that a few months after starting it was when my issues started. I looked it up and others have had the same problems.
