I have heard rumours that the people who make fluridil/eucapil are bringing out a version that isn't stored in ampules - which hopefully may be cheaper

Does anyone know anything about it?

I hope so, I will ask my Eucapil supplier for feedback on this. Thanks, Boru

Thankyou

Could you post back if they have any info?

I think fluridil is an excellent product so if they do a cheaper version not in ampules and hopefully with less alcohol I'll be really interested in adding it to my regime

Fluridil is an antiandrogen isn't it? Is it proven safe?

Is your regimen at the moment still just tricomin lordhair? Seeing results?

I am using Crinagen twice a day at the moment and tricomin now and again - too early to tell if there is any results yet

I was using spironolactone twice a day and my hairloss stopped but I was getting some bad headaches from it so I had to stop

I have ordered some spironolactone pills and I am going to make a 3% version myself in a different sort of cream - hoping that I'll avoid the reaction I had from it

Yes, fluridil is an anti-androgen - it blocks/shuts down the androgen receptors and it is supposed to be safe because it breaksdown in water. I did use it for about 3 months and had decent results but the alcohol content of the current fluridil is high and it can be harsh on your hair plus it is pricey

I am hoping to settle on a regime of crinagen (I might also continue with tricomin) plus a receptor blocker - either spironolactone if I don't get the headaches from my homemade version or fluridil/eucapil if the new version of it has less alcohol content and is a lot cheaper

Thats quite an achievement from spironolactone alone, how long did you use it for before you saw these results?

After I had used it for about a month my shedding stopped completely and I started to see velus hairs growing on my temples

I was using it twice a day (2% on the hair and 5% on the temples from Dr Lee)

Thanks for the replies, Lordhair.

I hope this fluridil rumour turns out to be true... :)

This product is completely new to me, and after looking at the site http://www.vitalhair.com/ i was impressed. Expensive though, and i wonder if you can use it along with spironolactone...

I use one third of an ampule each evening, which makes it rather less expensive.

boru do you only use it on the very front of your hairline then? i know i probably waste a bit using the whole thing but can you get decent spread with just a third?

It seems to spread thinly over my scalp, though I am not sure if the lower dosage is really effective. Most of my new hair is still intermediate, ie. better than vellus, so I am doing something right. It is probably best to keep the hair very short to ensure absorbtion. I would use a whole vial if I could afford it.

I imagine myself breathing pure potetic Irish Mountain Air. Retaining oxygen through deep breathing for twenty minutes each day. I breathe in fast through my mouth into the stomach and release through the nose slowly. (I also use a pulse laser water machine, but I won't advertise it as I am still experimenting) This utilises the oxygen at the extremities. I used to do the scalp exercises rigorously (though I have cut back due to the side effect of headaches), but Hegarty didn't invent that technique. When I wrote to him about a book I bought in Belfast in 1985 he told me he didn't publish his book on the subject until long after then. Scalp exercises have been around for a long time, Hegarty didn't realise he had merely reinvented the wheel! Thanks for the input. Boru

Hi guys, i emailed the eucapil site (or perhaps it was the partner site...) and got responses to questions about 1) using less than the recommended dose, and 2) the new version without the ampules

Here were the responses...

" 1] Theoretically you can use only half of the ampule per day, but you have to
close an ampule after using it and that is the main problem. If you will not
close an ampule it could evaporate some ratio untill next day. So we strongly
recommending to use all of the ampule or to close it hermeticaly.

2] We are in close touch with manafactures of Eucapil and untill this time we
have not been told about new product from them.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask me again."

Hmmm so there we go.
