hi all, i know this might be silly, but the instruction on my bottle of nizoral really aint that clear. i want know,
1) how much do u guys use per treatment? like 10cent piece amt/20 cent/ 50 cent amt?? or just tiny bit ( the bottle just say small amt... very hard to quantify...)

2)is nizoral a type of shampoo? should i use a shampoo to wash my hair prior application (cos i often gel my hair) or nizoral itself is enough to do the trick?

i know these might be common sense, but i might be lacking it so hope u guys can help me out, cheers!! 8)

It depends on the amount of hair there. Use it the way you use your regular shampoo except for the time that has to be left to sit on your scalp afterwards(3-5 min) to get absorbed.

Nizoral is a pharmaceutical shampoo containing ketoconazole, an antifungal active ingredient that is shown to have mild antiinflammatory/antiandrogenic properties.

You could use nizoral itself to remove gel and then reapply and left to sit.
A good idea would be to use it in conjuction with T/Sal: you could use T/Sal first, rinse and then apply nizoral. T/Sal contains salicylic acid, an exfoliating agent which enhances absorption of topicals and nizoral.
