I went to bed last knight on purpose with a thin application of nizoral shampoo on scalp and after washing it off It tingled a great deal. My scalp felt really healthy and I think the anti-inflammation propeties was doing a great job as well as the androgen protection as well. I'm going to start doing this every night. The company says use every 3-4 days but thats JUST for dandruff issue. Using it everyday has additional benefits such as what was mentioned above.

I am not sure that's a good idea dude.. Nizoral certainly has anti-inflammatory capacities, but with lots of people it causes an allergic reaction when left too long on the scalp. For me five minutes before rinsing it out feels fine, but in the cases i left it longer on my scalp i regretted it for days afterwards (very itchy, red scalp).
Maybe it works in your case, good luck with that.

I am into applying Ketokonazole overnight, but don't use the shampoo!!
Use Nizoral cream! The shampoo consists of surfectants such as Sodium lauryl Sulphate or other surfectants that gives the shampoo the foming propery, the texture and the cleansing properties. These ingredients can SERIOUSLY IRRITATE the skin - they interfere with the phospholipids of the skin! Ketokonazole is great but why the shampoo overnight???????!!!!!! Try the cream!

Eli: You dang' pharmacist you!! Never knew there was a Nizoral cream. I assume it's safe to use overnight. Is there undue absorption. I'll do some research also.

Thanks for the info!!!

Did some research, only bad effect would be itching, etc. NO SYSTEMIC absorption problems were found in my search!

Thanks again Eli!! I'll be buying the cream my pharmacist friend!

(I also ordered some pills to make my own 2% cream. You know I'm a homemade concoction wacko Eli.)

BRYAN: Why didn't you tell me about this?! :p

I have a tube of reli on anti fungal cream with 2% miconazole that I applied last night. Miconazole is very similar to keto but I don't know which one is stronger.

Can we get pure ketoconazole without a prescription?. That would be great to make a solution like minoxidil.

Be carefull when using keto because it belongs to a family of chems that happen to be used for insecticide and thus has a toxic value.

Yes you can, go to customnutritionwarehouse.com they sell the powder there, very cheap.

You can buy 1 gram for $3! You can make your own keto topical, or even a cream or gel.
