Nizoral not doing anything

ive been usin nizoral for a little while now and not seein any difference. i just continue to lose my hair in the front faster and faster, i thought nizoral should slow it down or let me keep the hair i have. it just continues to come out in patches at the front.

what should i do???

First of all, there is something here you might have heard of called shedding.

Secondly, I don't think many people here use only nizoral to combat hair loss. So I'd recommend using other stuff.

Nizoral is a very weak agent. It is at best a marginal addition to Propecia and Rogaine. Not to be used alone.

yea i know its not gonna grow my hair back but people here said to at least use that to help keep my hair

i guess im just shedding due to nizoral? i dont know, seems like normal loss that ive been havin before i used it

what do you recommend for my treatment then? start on finasteride?

How naive can someone be? does any one really beleive that using a shampoo that is on your head for all of 5 min will stop you losing hair,
sure use it with a dht inhibitor but never just alone FOOLISH

You need to do your research. Nizoral is only a fraction of the equation to slowing/stopping your hairloss. Nizoral alone is not enough.

nizoral is important part of your treatment. but you need other treatment to cover all area. to me, i think stuff like finasteride or dutasteride should be your foundation and you add on to it not the other way round.

Why do people recommend using Nizoral while on Propecia/finasteride ?? If finasteride does in fact reduce DHT, wouldn't that in turn reduce scalp inflammation/itching? If so, why would you need Nizoral??

I believe keto also binds to the receptor sites so other androgens (like T) cannot bind to the site.

Topical finasteride is pointless. You cannot restrict the drug's effects to a localised region. You can still experience sides with topical application.

do you crush tylenol and rub it on your head to help with your headache

Actually, I do and it works wonders. Kidding, of course. That's why I find it hard to believe that a topical like keto can 'bind to the receptor sites so other androgens cannot bind to the site'.

IM not sure if thats 100% true but I think it is.....some substances can work topically and others cant...its that simple...keto seems to be one that can...so does topical spironolactone.

Get on rogaine and finasteride asap, nizoral will do owt by itself. I know this has been said but you really need to listen and get on it right away!
