Does Nizoral shampoo have any effect on testosterone in the body? I've recently been on an increase testosterone regimen and it worked great for me. Working out and eating testosterone boosting foods, My face become gruffer, hair chest, arms etc. become more coarse and even my voice became deeper, I loved it, but the problem was my hair was really thin even when I am using minoxidil. So I recently added Nizoral 2% shampoo to my system, and it has been working, my hair become more coarse after just 2 weeks of using it with minoxidil.

However I've read that keto the main ingrediant reduces testosterone in the body, and I've noticed, or maybe it's just me, that my voice lost a bit of its deepness, I don't feel as pumped after working out and even some of that testo aggression is gone :( could it be the shampoo? does anyone know anything about this?

I'd rather risk going bald, atleast I'd still have pheromone inducing testosterone on my side.

Never heard of this before...ketoconozole is an anti-androgen but only considered a weak one applied topically at that. How often do you use it? Its only recommended 2-3 times a week for hairloss.

I have been using Nizoral 2% for 5 months straight as my only shampoo. It has maintained and I've noticed some regrowth on the hairline.

Will continue doign this. No problems with Test.

$stacks please explain, does it affect testosterone? what is your reason for believing this? I have read that the shampoo is not absorbed systemically so it would not affect the body in any way, and these gentlemen are saying it has no affect. I need to be sure if I'm going to continue using this stuff.

Topically no, I seriously doubt that. But for that individual to say "Keto has no 'bearing' on testosterone whatever" isn't true. Keto is a known inhibitor of Leydig cell's microsomal steroidgenesis.. Effectively interferring with even the biosynthesis of testoserone and other androgens from the very start.

Face became gruffer. What does that mean?

In two weeks Nizoral made your hair coarser and your voice less deep. No way, it's all in your head.

edit: who takes oral ketoconazole?
People with fungal infections that have spread to different parts of the body through the bloodstream take oral keto.

If you're thinking about trying it for hairloss, don't.

Nizoral 2% shampoo is not going to reduce the Testosterone in ur body (Since u are talking about it from the workout perspective. If u were going to drink it then perhaps it might but I dont think that is ur intention. )

You would "rather risk going bald"? Lowering DHT with finasteride does not lower your T levels. In fact in might raise T levels slightly while saving your hair.

Keto is not absorbed into your blood stream via your shampoo even if you leave it on your head for 30 min! It does have something of a local effect at the follicles only. However if you take pharma. Keto. orally it will knock down your T levels and maybe even ruin your liver if done enough.

Now, if you keep upping your T levels like some pre-teen ding dong dumb bell guy on the workout forums wishing for "hair on your chest and arms a gruffly voice, face, manly this and that, oddly enough you shall be rewarded by becoming a big hairy bad *** aggressive bald headed gorilla. No not this year, but add a little natural aging and more masculine DHT to the process and Ye shall even have tons of hair on your *** and back and it will come out of your ears too like that old man you saw. Yes something only a women could maybe tolerate, poop shall stick to your manly hairy crack hole but at least you will feel that makes you more of a man. All of that and more can easily be yours in the years ahead. All you need is lots of DHT and growing a little older, no problem DUDE! Enjoy yourself!
