I live on the east coast and I can honestly say I've never seen a bottle of Nizoral on store shelves here. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. I know the feeling of looking for rare products, though -- it's like hunting down Bigfoot lol.

You could always buy nizoral online. It's apparently not as cheap as it is in stores, but at least you can order some to use until your stores restock them. Keep in mind that there are other shampoos with keto in them as well, so you could keep an eye out for those. I've been trying Regenepure...it's relatively expensive and it still doesn't get rid of my scalp itch, but I guess my hair feels nice after washing it. If I could find a good price for Nizoral in a store located in or around NYC, I might switch back to it.

The only other OTC 1% keto shampoo I know some people like is Revita. I haven't tried it though. It's also more expensive than Nizoral, but maybe not as costly as Regenepure (at least on Amazon, I don't know about its price at drug stores). The only major difference between Nizoral and these other products (aside from the fact that nizoral contains sulfates) is that Nizoral doesn't mention hair loss on the label. Somehow these companies think they can charge people more for products that are indicated for treating cosmetic issues such as hair loss.

I can't speak for other keto shampoos, but I know they exist...at least on the internet. Hope you find a shampoo you like soon. The shampoos available are generally not ideal price-wise, but at least you could have some alternative options in case of Nizoral shortages.
