Is using it twice a week good enough? I wet my hair outside of the shower and apply it and leave it in for a few minutes twice a week...

I use it probably 5 times a week. Some people say it makes their hair dry or brittle, but it seems ok to me.

this is what ive been wondering about cassin... Because Revita shampo alsow has 1% ketoconzale.. and this stuff is pretty strong... and they say to use revita at least 5 times a week....
I was just wondering how that shampo could be using that much... and how the scalp was for the test subjekts... if they indeed used revita that much.

5x a week? thats friggin crazy you cant wash your hair almost every day. It has natural oils and you're just stripping them away. I think 3x a week is even alot but still somewhat reasonable. 2x a week you should be set.

well maybe 5x a week is a bit much but it is the 1% stuff.

ok, I'll cut down to three.

...my hair is horribly unmanageable, even at a short length, without washing it first.

different strokes for different folks. i wouldnt say theres a hard and
fast rule though nizoral 5 x a week is a lot. it say 'every few weeks'
on the bottle. we already use it a hell of a lot.

The reason they tell you that nonsense is because they want you to use it up faster and buy more.

well alot of people have already set upp plans using it 2 days and 1 day other hair shampo then 2 days revita again.
So many will be using it 6 times a week :D
Just going to wait and see how their scalp are in a month or 2.

I have recently started using Nizoral every other day since I read Michael Barry's post on Nizoral. I have not noticed any "stripping" or damage to my hair. In fact it seems the exact same to me. Show me someone who has had their hair ruined from over use of Nizoral. I doubt they exist.

That said, 3-4 times a week is mostly likely all one would need. As for what it says on the bottle, you have to remember that its made to fight dandruff originally. For optimal dandruff control use "once every two weeks." For baldness control use MORE OFTEN!

why not just use it twice a day? Or have you found the secret number of times to use it for maximal results?

Been using nizoral 1% everyday for the past month, anyone else does the same?
Was using every other day previously, but decided to use it everyday because my hair aches when i touch it on the nizoral off days and doesn't if used daily.

how does nizoral 1% every day compare to nizoral 2% every 2 days... am i screwing myself?

personally I didn't get my scalp dried out, my sebum release went up on the front scalp after getting on propecia so the 20% reduction was rather welcome :D hair has that childhood feeling again!

I never claimed to find the secret number for maximal results  . Once a day is plenty, unless your a sweaty pig that needs two showers a day; then go for it. It wont kill you :freaked:
