nizoral usage question

I'm using 1% nizoral shampoo. Based on the instruction on the bottle, it says to lather and rinse. I saw numerious times on this board that some people recommand leaving on your scalp few minutes before you rinse. Is that important for nizoral to be effective or follow the instruction on the bottle and rinse right away?

I think you need to read the instructions again.

This is what it says exactly: Wet hair thoroughly, apply shampoo, generously lather, rinse thoroughly. Repeat

Nothing about leaving on your scalp for few minutes. My T/GEL shampoo, however, clearly says to leave on your hair and scalp few minutes before rinsing.

I would leave it in even longer. 5 minutes would be for killing dandruff, but for it to be beneficial for hairloss(if it even is), then leave it in for at least 10 minutes
