They say to use 2 - 3 x per week - so you should be OK. If this is your first time ever using nizoral - you might want to start out w/ just 2x per week to make sure that your scalp doesn't get irritated and your hair doesn't dry out. Maybe move up to 3x per week after you feel comfortable w/ it.

Have a good conditioner ready in case you need it.

Use any quality shampoo of your choice on the other days.

I personally use Revivogen - it's like a 3year old bottle - I don't need to condition much or often.

As far as shampooing every day - the debate goes on. It really depends on your hair type. I put so much crap into my hair every day I HAVE to shampoo daily.

Can I use it twice a day?

If using other products, fear it might disturb Nizoral's effect..silly me.

Can anyone post a picture of the shampoo?

This?:

Yeah, that's the stuff.

The label recommends it to be used 2-3 times a week. So, whatever the label says, I would follow.

It is a slightly expensive shampoo, and it is also a medication, so overuse would not be recommended for the same reasons that it would not be recommended to down a fifth of Robitussin if you get a cough.

I see.
Worried there.

I heard that Nizoral's effectiveness.
As well as Minoxidil.
Can I just use Nizoral and no minoxidil or finasteride?

Reports of Nizoral or Minoxidil for Hair Loss
A recent article in the magazine Dermatology compared the use of Minoxidil 2% (Rogaine, Regaine) to Nizoral 2%. The study indicates that Nizoral shows a similar response of growing hair to Minoxidil 2%. Many reports have indicated that Nizoral is "definitely a good shampoo for thickening hair" and for hair regrowth.

I bought a 100ml bottle of 2% today for £7.99 from Boots, I thought they only came in 60ml so I'm pleasantly suprised, I use it 2-3 times a week so this should last me about 2 months. :)

The pharmacist did asked me whether I want the small or big one.
I say big...100ml (not that big though) that is.
The small must be 60ml.

i have the 120ml bottle.

What bother me guys is that it still seems too small compared with the quantity of a normal shampoo (300-400 ml)

So i don't put more than 2-3 drops.
Hope it'll last for 2-3 months, it's quite expensive after all

That's because it's not for daily use...only 2-3 times a week.

Me also just put 2 drops.
