Maternal side of my family is completely fine, almost all of my uncles are NW1, my grandfather was even a NW1. On my dad's side my uncles have thinning at the crown, but no diffuse thinning or anything like that.
That being said, I believe I'm suffering from diffuse thinning. Is this possible? It's nowhere in my family history. I mean, I can't tell for sure yet, there's no scalp noticeable or anything, but I'm losing a lot of hairs and my hair is definitely getting thinner (from what I can feel, or perhaps it's just me being paranoid).
I mean, I could say it's bad diet - I literally go days where I eat nothing but one meal, and that's usually something bad, like pizza. The thing is, it's come out of literally nowhere too.
I'm gonna get on finasteride in about a month, hoping it doesn't get too bad by then. However, I just wanted to go back to the question, is diffuse thinning possible without any family history of diffuse thinning, and recession only on my dad's side? (None of my uncles had any real recession before 30).
