No finasteride but shedding has stopped. What to think?

I've been off of finasteride for a month, and only remained on sawtooth palmetto supplements and shampoo, with nizoral shampoo every few days.
Yet, shedding has completely stopped and not returned. I rarely even see one hair come out.
Previously I would shed 15 or so hairs from vertex. Now it's full and not shedding at all. Was on .5 mg of finasteride every 2 days before

What does this mean?

How long were you on finasteride? You will most likely only lose what you gained. So if you weren't on it long enough to gain anything then you will probably not see a massive shed. If you did regrow a lot of hair, then give it more time, the shed will come.

Maybe the finasteride's effect is coming now. I think it's better to eat it.. I saw people who stopped eating finasteride. They was ok for three to six months but after that they lost a lot of hairs. But maybe finasteride is just not right for you. So it's up to you whether to eat it or not.

I love how people put up these posts but leave out all the details. How long were you even on finasteride? Most doctors will tell you that it takes up to 12 months before you return to where you would have been if you had never taken finasteride at all.
