No itch, no shedding, but losing hair like crazy

The last few months I have been losing hair and it becomes more and more noticeable by the week. I'm not exaggerating. It's mainly in the temple region and the crown has begun thinning recently as well.

But not only do I never have the notorious male pattern baldness itch, I also never see any shedding. My hair is 2 inches long, coarse and dark so a hair is very visible if it ever does fall out.

Wash my hair thoroughly with shampoo, maybe 3 hairs.

Style vigorously with paste, maybe 3 hairs.

Pull very hard on hair from male pattern baldness areas, occasionally 1 hair, usually zero.

No hairs in the pillow, no hairs anywhere.

Where the f*** is all my hair going!?

That being said I started Propecia a few days ago but still, at 17 this is very annoying and stressful.

I have the itch (more like burn in my case) but like you I don't shed much hair, despite my hair looking thinner by the week - if not day. Wish I had an answer but like you I'm wondering where the heck all the hair is going when I don't see or feel it going!

With such fast hair loss I thought I would be seeing hairs everywhere; my clothes, pillow, shower, hands. But the only place I see hair is on my head, and each week less and less.
