I have been away for awhile, so i havent really been able to find alot of people who have responded to finasteride like me, which is to say, not at all. I havent shed at all, hair loss hasnt stopped, no regrowth, everything is going the exact same pace and amount as it was before and i have been spending money on nothing. Just wondering if this was the case for anyone else? by the way i have been on it for over a year.

You might be a non-responder. Statistically about 15 % of the population is from the Merck studies. On the other hand, finasteride might be SLOWING down your loss. You will never know. Stay on the finasteride
Good Luck

personally, i think the only reason to get off finasteride is if you[re having side effects. if it's expensive for u, buy proscar or generic. but it's by far t he safest and most powerful thing to my knowlegde we have today to fight hair loss (together with the scalp exercises below which i highly recommend!).

What's the deal with those scalp exercises? I never really thought they'd be good against hair loss, but my hair always looks best after i've been lying down, or doing upside down stuff (i try a bit of gymnastics now and again)... i wonder if the scalp stuff really could work...

no scientific evidence... i don't think there is even a scientific study that shows responding rates of finasteride vs dutasteride

Personally, i sthink the scalp exercises are as good as Propecia. Have a look at the testimonials in this website i give below and look at how he teaches it and WHY he thinks it works. it makes complete sense and it also makes your face muscles stronger which make u look younger in the long run by making your face tighter. its all about exercising your upper face muscles which get slacked over time since we never use them. i HIGHLY recommend everyone to look at this website below and find out the benefits of doing the scalp exercises. good luck!
