No Treatment But Shedding Stopped

My last post here was deleted after the forum bug but a couple of people commented to confirm my hair loss was probably male pattern baldness as opposed to diffuse thinning.

I was also wondering if it is normal that shedding can stop without any treatments (ever) after thinning for 10+ years? Previously I would have hairs fall out if I run my hand through it or while shampooing/towel drying in the shower but this isn't happening any more.

I have only noticed this from when I did a 0 buzz cut a few months ago. The only other thing I have done differently is stop using Head and Shoulders shampoo. The attached pictures are about 12 weeks after the 0 buzz cut. Obviously the hair on top is still very thin but no shedding over this time. Maybe it will start again soon but I was just wondering if anyone had any similar experience?

Clearly male pattern baldness. Could be slowing down as your approaching the final stages of a horseshoe.

Be glad it took ten years. I would've been beyond that point after five without treatments.
