no. women losing hair is NOT equivalent to men losing hair.

Not sure what the hell you're on about given that Toccata's post is good because it demonstrates how people really feel about baldness with great examples

but sure, make it about the battle of the sexes for some reason.

With all that done, he would be near enough average or at least not be ridiculed by standing out like a sore thumb. WhitePolarBear by his own admission has genetic similarities to this guy. He wore glasses and was slick bald at 22 with a nice guy face, was treated badly by a few girls and guys, initially struggled at university due to depression. But he turned his situation around to end up with a normal life and inspires guys on here in a similar situation.
turned his situation around aka : "he used tinder to get laid"

not trying to turn it into a battle of the sexes. its just male hair loss and female hair loss are much different. the actual fact of being bald is much worse for girls. HOWEVER, i still agree with tocatto that because of the sympathy and social approval of wig wearing for them , the impact is less. BUT wig wearing is pretty much required for them too if they dont want severe social disapproval.

A sad ending. If only someone was there to help him, maybe it would have made a difference or not. I tried to find out some more information on him from other articles. It seems he had an English degree, worked as a teacher for a bit but didn't enjoy it, maybe he was bullied there by the kids. Then he worked at a grocery store and lost his job. He was a vegan and had different ideas to others about life and the universe. You can see he looks like a hippy with those beads and type of facial hair, just missing the long hair of course. His parents divorced when he was a kid and apparently he experienced major depression in the last 5 years, he felt he didn't fit into the world according to his parents. I'm sure his hair loss played some role in him feeling different and alienated. It would at least have been an accessory factor.

Lets assume it was image related especially with his name change to Adonis, could he have helped his cause? On the surface he is below average with a legit beta nice guy face. But he could have led a normal life with some thought. Workout, proper fashion stubble, clothes, develop conventional interests and maybe a transplant would give him lots of hair back or at the least a poor buzz cut. This would give him confidence and a slightly better look. Perhaps he lacked the social support or motivation for this.

So what's the difference with the guy in the OP? Judging by his name change, he probably wanted to be pursued by 8+ hot girls. Didn't see the point of making the effort to change his life, just to be normal. On top of that, his personality was probably a little out of the box and not amenable to embrace changes. He would have been better off staying as he is, being happy in some hippy place like Goa. You need to know your limits in terms of looks and personality which is also more or less genetic.

RIP.

Very thoughtful and considerate analysis Wolf Pack. If I knew him I would have tried to persuade
him to live the monastic life, even if only for a few years; he sounded well-suited for it. What better
place for a bald man who wants to be at peace with himself and the universe. In blissful balditude!

That's probably what I should do as well. But I'll wear a green tunic, as a follower of the Order of the Ugly Frogs.

Bald men do have a history of jumping into volcanos though.
Empedocles jumped into Mount Etna. We know why. hehe

Look at the number of dislikes to someone that doubted whether
given the choice people would choose death over life without hair.

You see an ugly old man eh? sh*t, I had that diffusion when I was about 24.
What if you ARE an ugly old man—and you're only turning 19! —"just shave it bro!"
Men don't need cancer to experience the 'devastation'. It's just BOOM. —"c'mon just hair bro!"

I have to post this Islamic Hadith cause I spent way too long trying to recall and find this story:

Repulsion. Disease. Illness. Then an article about male baldness comes out and you get this:

I've commented here before not to write off your life before living it,
but let no one say we don't have a legitimate reason to feel depressed.

A part about Fred is a bullshit.

Fred elaborated a few times he didn't have much of problems with girls even being bald and looking like 40 years old clerk. At least he slayed that Italian chick BEING bald. Stop comparing average Joe with Fred who is tall, proportioned and has a good face. He was above average, to begin with. Yes, he did a "big job" – a few hours surgery. And 50% paid by parents. That's all of his "looksmaxing".

The guy committed suicide is beta-faced redhaired. Also seems like a manlet. He tried to escape into veganism-hippy movement but failed to fit. He was a looser.

I don't think balding had a decisive impact on suicide tho, rather it was mentally problem. Don't forget he was 38yo.

speaking as both a strong mentalcel AND baldcel, yes i've considered suicide from the combo of them. baldness DEFINITELY can be the deciding factor. if i was just a mentalcel i'd at least not be visibly inferior

Best post in this page, 100% accurate, I couldn't agree more.

I especially agree on "Fred's looksmaxing" part, and I've always though the same. All he needed was a hair transplant and he was back to be a slayer again. Good-looking people don't "looksmax", don't even need it.

Continuing a hair transplant topic.

1. the surgeon was next to his place (Belgium).
2. he was ALREADY bald so he was nothing to lose. He was recommended for hair transplant – most of us still diffusing so it's NOT possible for us to get a hair transplant. Buckthorn as an example with his hair transplant on the front and further diffusion.
3. he had a good donor and compact area to place grafts – look at Dante with his huge skull area enough to place a Boing.
4. he has bright hair. Low density looks ok with bright hair and terrible with dark hair.
5. he looks cool with buzzcut. Thanks to his frame and skull.
6. finally, he was lucky with surgeon and surgery in general.

Fair enough. Nothing between the sexes is 1:1 especially in attraction.

But it was the women that compared herself, not me. She was the
one that said she looked like an ugly old man. Well I say 'What
about a 19 year old that looks like that?" Why can't he be insecure?
He might have to live with that for the next sixty, seventy years.

Are you going to quantify the degree of suffering? Like men suffer 65%
the degree to which women suffer. That's heading into the "Why are
scientists even trying to cure hair loss when cancer is much worse." or
the "Bro, your hair loss is no big deal. Imagine if you were a woman!"

I do agree with you if you are saying women have a more difficult
time attracting men when they are bald. But certainly you can agree
that men must also have to look good. What I think may even the scales
is that men have to do it inconspicuously or else risk negative judgement.

These are from an article about Googlebox founder Chris Steed's hair transplant.

P.S. Runninghair doubted baldness would make anyone want to kill
themselves and so that counts men and women sufferers alike. I think
there's gotta be some guy out there that let this type of sh*t break him:

It's also important to note the number of users that offer unconditional support when a fellow
member posts a thread in which they are in obvious distress. Sometimes members will do a
180° on previous positions just to offer words of encouragement when someone needs help.

And when it happens, it is a beautiful moment in a dark world.

Am i the only one who thinks this guy dosent even look that terrible by nw6 standards? Ya, he's no Dwayne Johnson but the regular baldie I see probably looks as bad or worse

Agree, he didn't look bad. But he emitted the "looser" and cringe beams.

Moby isn't cuck faced. There is something intelligent in his facial features.

All the guy in OP needed to do was get rid of the soul patch and grow a proper beard
