So no one remembers seeing the FDA "recall" anywhere except via Dr. Lee's emails? Can anyone find anything on it online now?

There's nothing here: http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm

The FDA contacted me directly and said not to use the products I bought from Dr. Lee, so it's not like he fabricated this whole thing. Although it is a bit weird that he talks about this place almost with approval.

Was it the FDA or was it something from the FDA that Dr. Lee sent you..as the poster here got: http://www.gourmetstylewellness.com/interact/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=64158&start=20

Another from Lee:

The Recall Notifications, which ask if you have used or destroyed the Regrowth LLC product(s), was not sent from or by the FDA. But it was the FDA that mandated Regrowth LLC send the Recall Notifications, using their guidelines for the quarantine and for the disposal of the products(s), thereby making our products appear to be 'dangerous'.

Why wouldn't it be on the FDA's site..or somewhere...especially after reading this(from thebaldtruth)?:

...I did find it interesting that not all of the members on here known to be taking his products received this email:

New one from glenn at HLH:

I sent an email to Dr. Lee's email ([email protected]) asking if there was any way I could get his 5% solution without the minoxidil as I liked the way the stuff made my hair manageable after it dried. I received a response stating they were sorry they can no longer offer the products, but that minoxidilsolutions.com website would be operational very soon and it would carry the same thing Dr. Lee used to sell.

Sure enough a week later it was up and running so I placed an order on June 22. I received an order confirmation email but no tracking number. Yesterday I sent an email asking if my order had shipped and didn't receive a response so today I called the number in the confirmation email and it was a residential home number.

So, is this a scam? I find it weird that I received a response from Dr. Lee's email telling me about the site.

Anyone know how to mix up his formula? The stuff wasn't growing any hair, I just used it as a styling product

I thought the same thing but then I got an email. I guess they are rolling them out slowly? I dunno. Entire this is confusing me.

My comfort level is solid with minoxidilmax right now and I find the smell of rogaine foam appalling.

This whole thing is just ludicroussssssssssssssssss. Nothing adds up. I was going to say Dr. Lee could easily get a hold of the owners of places like gourmetstylewellness.com and HLH and straighten this out...but I'm not believing anything he's saying anyway! Even if these emails aren't from him!

My P.I. fun is over...I'd still like to know why there's nothing out there from the FDA on this though. Maybe someone could contact them.

You're right jacob, it's an e-mail from that Dave Dorius character. This whole thing is fishy. I"m sure it' s not difficult to check with the FDA to see if they really did shut him down. There is the freedom of information act.

The info from the FDA will come out eventually. Gov agencies dont move fast. It took me 3 years and a dozen phone calls get something put on file and then get a copy of that file from the IRS and they have a huge staff. The FDA is fairly small nowadays. Just watch Food INC one day.

This is a very perplexing situation. I think were going to know pretty darn soon if the other site is for real or a bizarre, brazen hoax.

But please tell me why would we want to stir up the FDA ?? Geez sure would be great if they put everybody out of business except the big rogaine boy's wouldn't it ?? Man sign me up for up for that!!

Though I'm not sure anything would surprise me at this point. I cannot imagine why someone would choose this as a road to retirement. Why not just openly sell the biz to someone else? It has more the look of a forced hand.

I don't think anyone wants to stir up the FDA. I think everyone is just confused as it gets by this thing. Like Jacob my PI work is done. hah...I don't think I've been this chatty in years! I'll be back to one post every week or two soon enough.

Well..if you can find some other examples of something being recalled and/or a company being shut down by the FDA but only the company with the product being recalled or shut down is the one to know- and that company has to send emails/letters to all those who've purchased the product...then it'd make sense.

My PI fun is still over..so I'm not even going to look up what the FDA's policy is on this

Just to be clear, I'm not worried about you.

Also am I the only one that thinks the timing of of the Niazoril disappearance is a little strange as well?? I know it is available in some places. Yes I know it is supposed to be due do some "labeling" issue and I certainly hope that is the case but with this other stuff going on it certainly makes one wonder...... doesn't it??

So lets let "sleeping dogs lay" especially if it may affect us in very personal ways.

Just my opinion.

I was going to leave it alone but I guess I will ask you now.

What exactly is your concern with this ??? You don't use any of these products do you???? You know minoxidils, ketocanazole ect.......

Many of us would like to continue safely using them without interference. I hope that is ok with you.

So when exactly did you become " double secret FD@ man"??

:woot:

I think you should complain about/to the FDA(if indeed they are the problem here)..I'm just having some P.I. fun.

If I were using these products though..I'd be even more adamant about getting to the bottom of this. I'd trust no one at the moment.

Very Funny and believe me I am concerned. However.............

For most of us the problem is the seeming take down of one of the few people in this arena that many of us did trust.......

If your a fan of the FD@ then you don't know quite as much about alternative health and medicine as I was certain you did.

Who was it that approved that yummy genetically modified food??

Oh That's right !! Our happy go lucky friends at the FD@ Wow they really do love us!! :innocent:
