Was taking a picture of my hairline from the side and I see this on the side of my head

This is literally the first time I’ve ever seen any scalp around there, how can this appear so suddenly? Is this some kind of trick of light? It looks like diffuse thinning over a massive area, WTF

Weird thing is I was looking at it in a mirror under a really bright light and I couldn’t see any scalp at all.

Yeah selfies make this more noticable but it probably will progress some more like it did with me. I could see my retrograde first only in pics now i can see it in the mirror too :/

I have the same thing too. But I'm pretty sure my hair has always been thin at the sides. Are those picture taken at the same day? Lightning can change the look of your hair drastically.

Not the same day but this one was taken 1 day after the first one and it’s actually exposed to more light.

Bro your hair is perfectly fine! Lighting from above or that is extremely bright penetrates to the scalp more. Relaaaaaaax and enjoy life. Your hair looks great.

Lighting, angle, and how your hair is styled is going to make all the difference. Unless you do consistent pictures like this then they won't mean much.

It’s funny on my right side top of sideburn back to top of ear hair is thinning
On left side no thinning
