Oily hair

The last 6 years (at least) I have had a very oily hair. It referres to the skin of my head and nose as well. The skin produces too much fat. Before that I could only wash it like once in a week. Now I have to take shower every 2 days, often daily. Because otherwise it all becomes too greasy. I need to wash my hands if I run through my head and touch my forehead with my fingers.
Does anyone else here have this problem? And the most important question: how can I treat it?

I am going to skick to the hair part only , because I've been through it.

the more you wash your hair (with shampoo) the narrower the vicious circle.

washing your hair too much would make it tend to produce more sebum thereby causing a more oily scalp , the only advice that I can give you is to gradually decrease its application.

It happened to me as well , albeit not sure of it being as acute as I seem to read.

I'm pretty certain that's false.

On the other hand mate I know exactly walking you are talking about I have suffered from greasy skin/hair all my life.
It's honestly really bothersome, I can't go a day without my hair being dark brown and stuck together from the grease.
I have no answers except you have to live with it hahaha, maybe try washing your face mid-day and before you go bed, hell if I know. I've given up on trying to deal with it, just wash your hair everyday or maybe wait a week without washing and see how greasy you really get.

I just thought that it might be a disease of some sort. But it doesn't look like that. Most probably there were some changes in hormones in me with age, when my grease glands started to produce grease excessively. I tried to search the answer in the Internet but found no definite answer. And no effective way to treat it...
